Kings Infra Ventures, a seafood export and aquaculture company, welcomed the India-EU Trade Agreement, saying it will boost its overseas growth plans. The deal cuts tariffs by up to 26% and gives preferential access covering 100% of trade value, opening up the European seafood market where India's marine exports are currently worth around ₹8,715 crore (USD 1 billion) annually. The company already has a business development advisor in Spain and longstanding European customers. Along with the India-UK FTA signed in July 2025, Kings Infra says the combined EU and UK markets could rival the US in size and opportunity, especially for shrimp, frozen fish, and value-added seafood. The company is also seeking experienced consultants to help set up and scale its international operations.
Positive for shareholders — reduced tariffs and new market access in the EU and UK could lift export volumes, improve profit margins, and accelerate Kings Infra's international growth. Near-term stock reaction may be modest since the agreement benefits the entire sector, but the company's existing European presence and expansion plans position it to capture a meaningful share of the opportunity.
