Kiri Industries reported audited standalone PAT of Rs. 558.09 crore for FY2026, a massive jump from Rs. 0.44 crore in FY2025, driven primarily by an exceptional item of Rs. 588.12 crore. The exceptional item largely comprises a Singapore court award in the company's favour related to a minority shareholder dispute with DyStar Global Holdings. Standalone revenue from operations grew 18.7% to Rs. 7,779.41 crore from Rs. 6,556.04 crore. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 556.69 crore. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, though they included an Emphasis of Matter paragraph highlighting the Singapore award treatment and write-off of certain receivables as exceptional items. The company's cash position strengthened significantly to Rs. 34.45 crore from Rs. 0.37 crore, while reserves grew to Rs. 632.03 crore from Rs. 66.47 crore.
The massive jump in PAT is driven by one-time exceptional items from the Singapore court award and should not be mistaken for operational performance. The clean audit opinion is reassuring, though shareholders should note the Emphasis of Matter items regarding legal disputes and receivables write-offs.
