Kirloskar Brothers Limited reported strong order book growth of 27% YoY to Rs 39,488 Mn as of March 31, 2026, with standalone order book at Rs 22,801 Mn. Q4FY26 revenue grew 10% YoY to Rs 14,151 Cr, while full year FY26 revenue was flat at Rs 45,380 Cr (up 1%). However, profitability declined significantly - Q4 EBITDA margin fell to 14.8% from 16.8%, and PAT dropped 18.6% YoY to Rs 1,121 Mn. The Oil & Gas sector showed exceptional performance with sales up 221% and order book up 171%. The company received NABL accreditation for its pump testing laboratory and launched a new product called KirloSmart Nano.
The 27% growth in order book signals strong revenue visibility ahead, but the sharp decline in margins (-200 bps EBITDA) and 18.6% drop in PAT will concern shareholders focused on profitability. The analyst conference call on May 15 provides an opportunity to clarify margin outlook.
