Kirloskar Ferrous Industries has published a notice in Financial Express and Loksatta informing shareholders about a one-year special window (5 February 2026 to 4 February 2027) for transferring and dematerialising physical shares bought or sold before 1 April 2019. The window is opened under a SEBI circular dated 30 January 2026 and also covers earlier transfer requests that were rejected or not processed due to documentation issues. Shares transferred during this period will be credited only in demat form and will be locked in for one year from the date of registration. Shares already moved to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) are not eligible. Eligible shareholders need to submit requests to the company or its registrar MUFG Intime India (formerly Link Intime).
This is a routine regulatory disclosure and is unlikely to move the stock price. Shareholders holding old physical share certificates from before April 2019 should use this window to convert them into demat form, but should note the one-year lock-in that applies after transfer.
