Kirloskar Industries has shared an update about its listed material subsidiary, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (KFIL). KFIL published its 2nd Notice to Members in Financial Express (English) and Loksatta (Marathi) on 16 April 2026, informing shareholders about a SEBI-mandated special window for transfer and dematerialisation of physical securities. The window runs from 5 February 2026 to 4 February 2027 and applies to physical shares bought or sold before 1 April 2019, including previously rejected transfer requests. Shares transferred during this window will be credited only in demat form and are locked in for one year from the date of registration. Securities already moved to the IEPF are not eligible. Shareholders can submit documents to KFIL or its registrar MUFG Intime India Private Limited (formerly Link Intime).
This is a routine regulatory/compliance filing and is unlikely to have any material impact on the stock price. It is relevant only to shareholders of KFIL (the subsidiary) who still hold physical share certificates, giving them a final opportunity to convert them into demat form.
