KMEW has bagged a work order from Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL), a Government of India PSU, for conducting single beam and multi beam bathymetric surveys at Deendayal Port. The contract is valued at ₹10.77 crore (inclusive of GST) and runs for a period of three years. The company will deploy its existing vessel 'River Pearl – 1' for the work, covering pre-dredging, progressive, post-dredging and monthly bill surveys. This is a repeat order, as the same vessel previously completed similar survey work for 7 years at Kolkata Port (Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port). The contract is a domestic award and is not a related party transaction.
The order adds about ₹10.77 crore to KMEW's order book with revenue spread over 3 years, supporting near-term revenue visibility. Repeat business from a government PSU signals client confidence and strengthens KMEW's standing in the marine survey and port ancillary segment, which is mildly positive for the stock.
