Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 4,847.45 lakh for Q1 FY26, up about 12.4% from Rs 4,314.27 lakh in Q1 FY25. Total income rose to Rs 4,903.29 lakh. Profit after tax (PAT) grew to Rs 1,108.47 lakh from Rs 1,043.82 lakh, a ~6% rise, with EPS of Rs 10.43 versus Rs 9.53. On a standalone basis, revenue rose ~15% to Rs 3,409.55 lakh while PAT was nearly flat at Rs 712.97 lakh. Segment-wise, India revenue jumped sharply to Rs 2,699 lakh from Rs 1,541 lakh, Myanmar revenue fell to Rs 709 lakh from Rs 1,617 lakh, and Bahrain grew to Rs 1,440 lakh from Rs 1,156 lakh. EBITDA margin improved to roughly 42% from about 37% a year ago. Statutory auditor LKJ & Associates LLP issued an unmodified limited review report on both sets of results.
Steady top-line growth, an improving EBITDA margin, and a clean auditor review are positive signals for shareholders. However, the sharp drop in Myanmar revenue is a watch-point, and PAT growth lagged revenue growth on a standalone basis, which may temper near-term stock excitement.
