Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works reported strong FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs.25,628 lakhs, up 27.7% from Rs.20,070 lakhs in FY25. Net Profit After Tax surged 59.5% to Rs.7,911 lakhs from Rs.4,960 lakhs. On standalone basis, revenue grew 51% to Rs.22,538 lakhs while PAT more than doubled to Rs.7,795 lakhs from Rs.3,498 lakhs. EPS improved significantly to Rs.34.57 (consolidated) from Rs.20.29. The company raised Rs.26,988 lakhs through equity issuance, doubling share count to 24.4 million shares. However, operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs.-20,040 lakhs due to large increase in financial assets. The Board also approved a change in statutory auditor from LKJ & Associates to M S K A & Associates and seeks shareholder approval for increased related party transaction limits. An Emphasis of Matter notes Rs.24.89 crores outstanding from Dredging Corporation of India for over a year, though management expects recovery.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth indicates operational strength, but the negative operating cash flow and large outstanding receivables warrant caution. The Rs.24.89 crore claim without provision creates contingent liability risk. Positive earnings growth should support stock price despite cash flow concerns.
