KNR Constructions has received a Letter of Award from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the 4-laning of a 80.01 km stretch of NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar in Telangana, part of the Hyderabad–Panaji section. The bid project cost is Rs. 1,734 crores, to be executed on a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) basis. The construction period is 730 days (about 2 years), followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance period from the commercial operation date. The company has also closed its trading window for insiders from March 28 to March 29, 2026, as per insider trading rules.
This is a sizable new order from a government-backed client (NHAI) that strengthens KNR's order book and provides strong revenue visibility for the next 2 years plus a 15-year annuity stream. HAM projects carry lower execution risk since a portion of the payment is annuity-based, which should be viewed positively by shareholders.
