KNR Constructions reported a significant decline in standalone revenue to Rs. 2,09,672 lakhs for FY2026, down 37.6% from Rs. 3,35,865 lakhs in FY2025. Standalone net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 11,606 lakhs from Rs. 72,568 lakhs in the previous year, a decline of about 84%. On a consolidated basis, revenue dropped to Rs. 2,69,801 lakhs from Rs. 4,75,317 lakhs, while consolidated PAT fell to Rs. 43,686 lakhs from Rs. 1,00,187 lakhs. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.25 per share. Notable items include Rs. 16,297 lakhs in claim settlements recognized and Rs. 13,552 lakhs in revised cost estimates during Q4. The Kaleswaram Package 4 project continues to have stalled collections since March 2023, with outstanding dues of Rs. 1,36,332 lakhs, though management remains confident of recovery.
The sharp revenue and profit decline signals operational challenges. The large stalled receivables from the Kaleswaram project remain a key risk factor for cash flows and investor confidence despite auditor's clean opinion.
