Kolte-Patil Developers Limited reported a net loss of Rs 197 lakhs for FY26 standalone, a sharp decline from a profit of Rs 11,465 lakhs in FY25 (restated), mainly due to a collapse in other income from Rs 10,352 lakhs to Rs 732 lakhs. Revenue from operations was nearly flat at Rs 65,782 lakhs vs Rs 65,834 lakhs in the prior year. The Q4 standalone quarter also posted a net loss of Rs 90 lakhs vs a profit of Rs 7,063 lakhs in Q4 FY25. The company completed a preferential issue to BREP Asia III India Holding Co VII Pte. Ltd., raising Rs 41,703 lakhs, taking the acquirer's stake to 40%. Additionally, a scheme of amalgamation of Kolte-Patil Lifespaces Private Limited and Kolte-Patil Smart Spaces Private Limited (wholly-owned subsidiaries) has been approved, pending NCLT and other approvals.
The sharp drop in profitability due to significantly lower other income and flat revenue is a concern for shareholders, though the Rs 41,703 lakh capital raise provides some balance sheet support. The stock may come under pressure given the loss-making year.
