Koura Fine Diamond Jewelry Limited announced audited financial results for the half-year and year ended March 31, 2025, with the board also re-appointing its secretarial and internal auditors. Revenue from operations grew 13.3% YoY to ₹4,196.05 lakhs from ₹3,702.05 lakhs. However, profit after tax fell sharply to ₹17.24 lakhs from ₹37.61 lakhs in FY24, hurt by a steep jump in other expenses (₹187.45 vs ₹71.34 lakhs) and finance costs (₹26.22 vs ₹4.81 lakhs). The statutory auditor M/s. Bimal Shah Associates issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion. Short-term borrowings surged to ₹487.48 lakhs from ₹36.58 lakhs, and inventories more than doubled to ₹821.82 lakhs, while operating cash flow turned positive at ₹38.03 lakhs versus negative ₹136.53 lakhs last year.
Despite healthy topline growth, sharply higher expenses and borrowings nearly halved profit after tax, which is a concern for shareholders. The clean audit report and improved operating cash flow are positives, but rising debt and inventory levels will need close watching in coming quarters.
