KPT Industries reported annual revenue of ₹17,377.28 lakhs for FY26, up ~4.65% from ₹16,605.12 lakhs in FY25. Quarterly Q4 revenue surged to ₹6,006.53 lakhs from ₹3,969.17 lakhs a year ago, likely reflecting seasonal strength. However, annual PAT declined 13.3% to ₹1,206.79 lakhs (FY25: ₹1,392.69 lakhs), and EPS fell to ₹35.49 from ₹40.96. The auditor issued an unmodified clean opinion with no qualifications. A small exceptional item of ₹2.19 lakhs was recorded due to the new labour code's impact on employee benefits. Finance costs dropped sharply to ₹344.15 lakhs from ₹461.84 lakhs, helping offset some margin pressure.
Revenue is growing modestly but profitability has declined significantly year-on-year, which may concern investors focused on earnings quality despite the clean audit opinion.
