KPT Industries reported annual revenue of ₹17,377.28 lakhs for FY26, up ~4.6% from ₹16,605.12 lakhs in FY25. However, net profit after tax fell 13.4% to ₹1,206.79 lakhs from ₹1,392.69 lakhs, impacted by rising raw material costs and an exceptional charge of ₹2.19 lakhs related to the new labour code. Operating cash flow dropped sharply to ₹203.86 lakhs from ₹2,122.57 lakhs, driven largely by a ₹1,522.98 lakh increase in trade receivables. Borrowings increased to ₹2,498.37 lakhs (from ₹2,232.47 lakhs). The auditor issued an unmodified opinion. The board recommended a dividend of ₹3 per share (60%).
The stock may face near-term pressure as PAT declined ~13% despite modest revenue growth, and the sharp drop in operating cash flow signals working capital stress. Long-term outlook depends on whether receivables normalize and material costs ease.
