KRBL Limited reported its highest-ever total income of ₹6,098 crore in FY26, up 9% YoY, driven by growth in both domestic (10%) and export (6%) revenue. Q4 revenue grew 6% YoY to ₹1,526 crore, though export revenue declined 33% due to lower sales to the Middle East region. EBITDA margin improved significantly to 15.8% in FY26 from 13.0% in FY25, while PAT margin increased to 10.5% from 8.4%. The company maintained strong market leadership with 36.9% GT and 38.7% MT market share in basmati packaged rice. Domestic business hit a record ₹1,230 crore in Q4 with 22% YoY growth. The balance sheet remains robust with net cash position (net bank borrowings of ₹-789 crore) and cash balance of ₹919 crore.
The strong margin expansion and record revenues signal operational efficiency gains and pricing power, which could be positive for the stock. However, the export weakness and Q4 margin compression warrant monitoring. The company's deleveraged balance sheet and market leadership position provide stability for shareholders.
