Krishival Foods Limited has informed the exchange that shareholders have approved, through a postal ballot conducted via remote e-voting between May 8 and June 6, 2025, a special resolution to migrate the company's listing from the NSE SME platform (NSE Emerge) to the Main Board of NSE. A total of 511 shareholders were on record as of the May 2, 2025 cut-off date, with 2,22,95,141 shares outstanding. Of these, 29 public non-institutional shareholders voted, casting 74,67,500 shares (about 33.5% of outstanding shares) — all 100% in favour and 0% against the resolution. Per SEBI Regulation 277, votes from 3 promoters aggregating 82,96,641 shares were excluded from the count because the public vote in favour was already more than twice the votes against. The scrutinizer, Maithili Nandedkar of MNB & Co. LLP, certified the process and confirmed the resolution was passed with the requisite majority.
This is a positive development for shareholders — moving from the SME platform to the Main Board typically brings higher visibility, broader investor participation (including institutions and index funds), better liquidity, and potentially improved valuations. However, the actual listing on the main board is still subject to regulatory and exchange approvals, so it may take some time before trading migrates.
