KIMS Hospital filed the transcript of its Q1 FY26 earnings call held on August 7, 2025. Consolidated revenue grew 26.8% YoY to INR879 cr, but EBITDA margin compressed sharply to 22.7% from 26.6% YoY, hit by INR21 cr in losses from newly commissioned hospitals (Thane, Nashik, Kollam). PAT fell to INR85 cr from INR95 cr YoY and consolidated EPS dipped 9.2% to INR1.96. Net debt stood at INR2,020 cr as on June 30, 2025. Management guided FY26 EBITDA margin in the 22–25% range and expects new unit losses of INR20–30 cr in FY27, with Bangalore (800 beds) commissioning in September and Kondapur/Anantapur expansions in FY27.
Near-term profitability remains under pressure as new hospitals ramp up, but management reiterated confidence in mid-teens top-line growth and long-term ROCE of 20–25%. Investors should brace for margin softness in FY26–FY27 before new units contribute positively from FY28.
