Kriti Industries posted Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of ₹22,405.56 lakhs, down about 12.9% year-on-year from ₹25,716.21 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone net profit fell to ₹720.09 lakhs from ₹1,365.20 lakhs, a drop of roughly 47%. Profit before tax margin compressed to about 3.2% from 6.2% a year ago, reflecting weaker operating performance in its single plastics segment. Consolidated results were broadly similar, with PAT of ₹725.84 lakhs. The statutory auditors (Rakesh Kumar & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both sets of results. During the quarter, the company issued 15,92,480 equity shares on conversion of warrants to Kriti Nutrients Limited, raising paid-up capital to ₹526.96 lakhs.
Short-term negative — both revenue and profits declined sharply YoY and margins compressed, though the company stayed profitable and there are no auditor red flags. Shareholders should watch for a recovery in the plastics business and any demand-side commentary in the next quarter.
