KSE Limited reported Q1 FY26 results with revenue from operations of Rs. 41,599.67 lakhs, down about 3.6% from Rs. 43,143.04 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, profit after tax more than doubled to Rs. 3,855.43 lakhs from Rs. 1,836.81 lakhs a year earlier, and profit before tax rose to Rs. 5,196.41 lakhs from Rs. 2,479.26 lakhs. EPS for the quarter stood at Rs. 120.48 versus Rs. 57.40 in the year-ago quarter. Operating profit margins improved sharply, as cost of materials and other expenses were lower year-on-year. The Animal Feed Division remains the largest contributor to both revenue and segment profit, while the Dairy Division continued to post a small segment loss.
Despite a modest top-line decline, sharply higher profitability and doubled EPS signal strong margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. Investors should watch whether the margin gains and PAT growth sustain in the coming quarters.
