Kuantum Papers reported FY2026 audited results with total revenue of Rs. 1,093.16 crore, slightly down from Rs. 1,107.04 crore in FY2025. Net profit dropped significantly to Rs. 41.95 crore from Rs. 115.18 crore in the prior year, representing a 63.6% decline. EPS fell to Rs. 4.81 from Rs. 13.20. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (250%) totaling Rs. 21.82 crore, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled for 27th August 2026. The company also announced re-appointment of key personnel including Vice Chairman Pavan Khaitan for another 3-year term. Record date for dividend is 20th August 2026.
Despite lower profits, the company is maintaining shareholder returns through dividend payout. The significant profit decline may create short-term pressure on the stock price, though the unchanged dividend signals management confidence. Long-term borrowings stand at Rs. 740.61 crore.
