Kuantum Papers' board approved audited results for FY25 with revenue of Rs 1,10,704 lakhs (down from Rs 1,21,130 lakhs last year) and net profit of Rs 11,518 lakhs (down from Rs 18,383 lakhs). EPS for the year stood at Rs 13.20 vs Rs 21.07 in FY24. The board recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per share (300% on face value of Rs 1), totalling about Rs 26.18 crore. Chairman Jagesh Kumar Khaitan (80) was re-appointed for 3 years from July 2025, while his son Pavan Khaitan (Vice Chairman & MD) got a remuneration revision effective April 2025. Cost, internal, secretarial, and statutory auditors were all re-appointed for FY26 or longer terms. The 28th AGM is set for August 29, 2025.
The sharp drop in profits (about 37% YoY) is a concern for shareholders despite the strong dividend payout. Stability at the top with the Khaitan family continuing in leadership and all auditors retained signals continuity, though the weak earnings may pressure the stock in the near term.
