Kundan Minerals and Metals Limited (formerly Eastern Sugar & Industries Limited) published its audited consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026 in newspapers. Total income for the year was Rs. 4,76,296.66 lakhs, up from Rs. 4,28,970.39 lakhs in the previous year. However, net profit after tax declined to Rs. 10,814.76 lakhs from Rs. 12,793.54 lakhs in the previous year. Basic EPS stood at Rs. 17.91 per share compared to Rs. 21.15 in the prior year. The company is a precious metals and related products business. The results were approved by the board on May 27, 2026 and audited by statutory auditors. Additionally, Kundan Gold Mines Private Limited ceased to be a subsidiary and became an associate company after CCD conversion. The company also acquired 100% controlling interest in Kundan Concentrates Private Limited and subscribed to 70% equity stake in Kundan Venture FZCO.
Profitability declined year-on-year despite higher revenue, and EPS decreased. Importantly, trading in the company's equity shares remains suspended due to past insolvency proceedings, and the company is seeking re-listing approval from BSE and NSE.
