Kwality Wall's (India) Limited is seeking shareholder approval via postal ballot for appointing two Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors. Mr. Abhijit Bhattacharya (64), currently CFO of The Magnum Ice Cream Company N.V., brings nearly 40 years of finance and leadership experience including senior roles at Philips. Mr. Tahir Toloy Tanridagli (49), currently President of Middle East, Turkey and South Asia at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, has over 25 years in food and beverage with expertise in regional business leadership. Both were appointed as Additional Directors on 30th March, 2026 and this postal ballot is required to formalize their regular appointment. Mr. Bhattacharya has also been designated as Chairperson. E-voting runs from 30th May to 28th June 2026.
These appointments strengthen the board with experienced executives from the parent company Magnum Ice Cream. This reinforces corporate governance but is unlikely to have immediate impact on the stock price as these are routine director appointments.
