Lakshmi Engineering and Warehousing Ltd (formerly Lakshmi Automatic Loom Works Limited, name changed on 25 October 2024) has submitted its 51st Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2025 to BSE. The 51st Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 18 September 2025 via video conferencing. The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹10 per share (10%) on the paid-up capital of 6,68,750 equity shares, amounting to ₹66.87 lakhs. For FY25, sales and other income stood at ₹1,402.26 lakhs (down from ₹1,627.92 lakhs in FY24), with net profit after tax at ₹88.16 lakhs (down sharply from ₹230.21 lakhs). Warehousing rental income rose to ₹855.39 lakhs from ₹815.50 lakhs, while Engineering Services revenue fell to ₹446.57 lakhs from ₹755.28 lakhs due to a recession in the textile and engineering sectors. A new 40,770 sq ft warehouse at Hosur has been completed and is expected to be leased out.
Sharply lower profits (down ~62% YoY) and a softer dividend compared to last year may weigh on sentiment, though stable warehousing rental income and expansion of warehousing capacity provide some support for future revenue.
