Lambodhara Textiles reported revenue of Rs. 24,320 Lakhs for FY2026, marginally up from Rs. 23,504 Lakhs in FY2025. Profit after tax surged to Rs. 1,100.48 Lakhs from Rs. 682.49 Lakhs — a 61% YoY jump driven by higher segment profits and controlled costs. The auditors (Mohan & Venkataraman LLP) issued an unmodified opinion. Finance costs nearly doubled to Rs. 867 Lakhs (vs Rs. 426 Lakhs), largely due to a Rs. 263.59 Lakh exchange fluctuation loss on foreign currency borrowings. The company recommended a dividend of Re. 0.50 per share (10%). Three whole-time directors were reappointed for 3-year terms. The RTA is being changed from MUFG Intime to Cameo Corporate Services.
Strong bottom-line growth of 61% YoY with clean audit opinion is positive. However, the doubling of finance costs due to forex losses warrants attention, as does the modest topline growth in a challenging textile environment.
