Lancer Container Lines announced its Q3 FY25-26 (Oct-Dec 2025) unaudited consolidated results on February 5, 2026. Revenue crashed to ₹5,440.23 lakhs from ₹20,397.26 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a steep ~73% year-on-year decline. The company swung from a profit of ₹407.70 lakhs in Q3 FY25 to a loss after tax of ₹742.77 lakhs in Q3 FY26, with EPS turning negative at (0.30). For the nine-month period, revenue fell to ₹25,516.06 lakhs (from ₹58,142.13 lakhs) and the company posted a cumulative loss of ₹527.30 lakhs versus a profit of ₹3,204.96 lakhs last year. The statutory auditor (Praneti Yadav & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. The company also disclosed GST Reverse Charge Mechanism orders of ~₹7.86 crore (plus equivalent penalty and interest) which it is contesting in appeal, treating the amount as a contingent liability with no provision made.
The results are sharply negative — collapsing revenues, deep losses, and eroding margins are likely to weigh on the stock and may raise investor concerns about the sustainability of the business. The GST dispute is an additional overhang, though management believes it will not have a material financial impact if the appeal succeeds.
