Lasa Supergenerics informed the exchanges that promoter Mr. Omkar Herlekar has voluntarily withdrawn from converting his warrants into equity shares. Earlier, the company had received in-principle approvals from BSE and NSE on May 15, 2025, for issuing 25,00,000 equity shares of face value ₹10 each through conversion of warrants on a preferential basis. Following the promoter's withdrawal, those warrants will not be converted and no equity shares will be issued under that previously approved preferential allotment.
This reduces the planned equity dilution from the preferential allotment since fewer shares will now be issued. For existing shareholders, it means lower dilution than originally expected, though it also signals that the promoter himself chose not to participate in the warrant conversion.
