Laser Power & Infra IPO to open on July 9; cuts issue size to ₹742 crore

Laser Power and Infra will launch its IPO on July 9 to raise about Rs 742 crore, down from the earlier proposed Rs 1,200 crore. The issue comprises a fresh equity sale of Rs 542 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 200 crore, with proceeds mainly earmarked for repayment of borrowings worth Rs 490 crore. The company's net profit grew 42 percent year-on-year to Rs 151.6 crore in FY26, against a 9.5 percent decline in revenue, and it had an order book of Rs 3,243 crore as of March 2026.
