Laurus Labs has appointed Mr. Jyothi Basu Abbibeni as Executive Vice President – Chemical R&D, effective June 5, 2025. He holds a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, and brings over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His prior roles include positions at Sumithra Laboratories, Veera Laboratories, Nicolas Piramal Ltd., and most recently as COO at Tianish Laboratories (formerly Mylan Drugs India). He will be based at the company's R&D Centre in Hyderabad.
