Laxmi Organic Industries corrected a typographical error in its Q4 FY26 Consolidated Financial Results where Basic EPS was incorrectly reported as negative ₹(0.77) and Diluted EPS as ₹(0.78), when the correct figures are ₹0.77 and ₹0.77 respectively. The error affected only the EPS figures for the quarter, with no changes to other financial disclosures. The corrected standalone FY26 results show revenue from operations of ₹28,085 million (down from ₹29,446 million in FY25) and PAT of ₹792.58 million (down from ₹1,180.21 million in FY25). Consolidated FY26 PAT stands at ₹793.62 million versus ₹1,135.04 million in the prior year. The company also announced appointment of Mr. Amit Jain as CFO, declared a dividend of ₹0.30 per share, and changed its depreciation method from WDV to Straight Line basis.
The correction turns a seemingly loss-making Q4 into a profitable quarter, removing potential negative sentiment from the originally reported negative EPS. However, the underlying business shows revenue decline of approximately 4.6% YoY and PAT decline of about 30% YoY on consolidated basis, which may concern investors.
