Laxmi Organic submitted an investor presentation ahead of a May 22 analyst meet. FY26 revenue came in at ~INR 2,847 crore, down 5% YoY, with EBITDA of ~INR 171 crore (margin 6.0%), significantly lower than FY25's 9.4% margin. Q4FY26 showed sequential recovery — EBITDA margin improved by 520 bps to 7.3% driven by better price realizations. The Specialties business saw an 18% revenue decline to ~INR 779 crore, while Essentials remained flat at ~INR 2,027 crore. One-time items included a favourable litigation settlement gain of INR 407 Mn offset by labour code impact of INR 38 Mn and supply chain redesign costs. The Dahej expansion has started commercial production (CTO received for first phase). FY26 also includes ISCC Plus certification achievements.
The sharp FY26 margin compression and revenue decline reflect ongoing chemical sector headwinds, though the Q4 sequential recovery provides some comfort. Shareholders will focus on whether the Dahej Specialties ramp-up can arrest the margin decline in FY27.
