Lead Financial Services, a small NBFC, reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 16.14 lakhs, marginally up from Rs 15.76 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, total revenue rose to Rs 32.48 lakhs from Rs 31.00 lakhs (~4.8% growth), while profit after tax grew to Rs 9.56 lakhs from Rs 7.60 lakhs (~25.8% growth), driven mainly by the strong Q1 FY26. However, Q2 standalone PAT fell sharply to Rs 1.14 lakhs from Rs 5.07 lakhs a year ago because other expenses spiked to Rs 11.19 lakhs versus Rs 3.20 lakhs in the preceding quarter. The auditor (B G G & Associates) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. Cash from operations swung to negative Rs 119.57 lakhs in H1 (from positive Rs 13.02 lakhs last year) as the loan book expanded from Rs 635.95 lakhs to Rs 764.50 lakhs, leaving only Rs 2.16 lakhs in cash by quarter-end.
Mixed signals for shareholders — H1 PAT growth looks healthy but Q2 profitability collapsed and the company is now operating on very thin cash reserves due to heavy lending. Watch loan book quality and liquidity closely; near-term earnings momentum has weakened.
