Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company, a non-deposit-taking NBFC listed on BSE and MSE, submitted its 41st Annual Report for FY 2024-25 along with the AGM notice. Total revenue jumped sharply to Rs. 2,900.19 lakhs in FY25 from Rs. 497.30 lakhs in FY24, a rise of nearly 483%. Profit after tax grew to Rs. 375.84 lakhs from Rs. 209.19 lakhs, up about 80%. Total expenses, however, ballooned from Rs. 196.20 lakhs to Rs. 2,644.70 lakhs, sharply compressing the profit margin. No dividend was recommended, and Rs. 117.79 lakhs was transferred to the statutory reserve as required for NBFCs. The 41st AGM is scheduled for September 29, 2025, with proposals to re-appoint the Managing Director, appoint S.K. Bhavsar & Co. as statutory auditor for five years, and appoint Dharti Patel & Associates as secretarial auditor.
The dramatic revenue growth is a positive headline for shareholders, but the disproportionate jump in expenses has visibly compressed margins, so investors should look closely at the quality and sustainability of the new revenue base. No dividend payout means shareholder returns depend entirely on price appreciation.
