Schloss Bangalore (The Leela) reported strong Q1 FY26 results, its first as a listed company. Total revenue rose 25% year-on-year to ₹3,013 million, while EBITDA jumped 63% to ₹1,280 million, lifting EBITDA margin to 42.5%. RevPAR grew 20% to ₹11,963 and average daily rate (ADR) rose 13% to ₹18,817, supported by 63.6% occupancy. Profit after tax turned positive at ₹87 million, a swing of ₹837 million from the prior year. The company recently completed a ₹35,000 million IPO in June 2025 that was oversubscribed 4.7x, cutting net debt by 91% to ₹2,275 million, and CRISIL upgraded its credit rating to AA (Stable). The Leela currently runs 13 properties (3,544 keys) and has 8 more hotels in development, including a 250-key Mumbai BKC project with Brookfield and 63 serviced apartments near Mumbai airport.
This is a strong debut quarter with broad-based growth in revenue, profitability and key hotel metrics, plus a much healthier balance sheet post-IPO — likely to be viewed positively by investors. The visible expansion pipeline and improved credit rating support the medium-term growth story, though the stock may already reflect some of this optimism given the recent listing.
