Lemon Tree Hotels signed a license agreement for a 70-room hotel in Jorhat, Assam, to be managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Carnation Hotels. The property will feature a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, spa and fitness centre. This marks Lemon Tree's entry into Jorhat and expands its Assam footprint to seven properties, one operational and six under development. Separately, the company has de-flagged its 112-room Lemon Tree Hotel in Dubai with immediate effect.
New Assam signing supports Northeast expansion. Dubai de-flagging is a small portfolio change. Neutral to mildly positive for growth outlook.
