LG Electronics India has received an addenda to its eligibility certificate from the Government of Maharashtra under the state's Electronics Policy. The company is now eligible to receive incentives worth INR 881.86 Crores, an increase of INR 176.12 Crores from the previously reported INR 705.74 Crores. This incentive is for investments in fixed assets made between November 2017 and October 2025 at its manufacturing units in Ranjangaun, Pune. The incentives include SGST refund, electricity duty exemption, stamp duty exemption, EPF refunds, power tariff subsidy, and property tax exemption. The annual limit has been raised from INR 47.04 Crores to INR 58.79 Crores, valid until April 2040.
This government incentive will reduce the company's operating costs at its Pune facility, potentially improving margins. The extended validity period until 2040 provides long-term financial visibility for shareholders.
