Linde India Limited has reported audited standalone PAT of Rs 5,508.74 million (up 23% from Rs 4,478.13 million) and consolidated PAT of Rs 5,489.65 million (up 20.7% from Rs 4,548.45 million) for FY2026. Standalone revenue grew marginally by 1.8% to Rs 25,306.40 million. The Board has recommended a total dividend of Rs 12 per share including a special dividend of Rs 8 per share. However, Statutory Auditors Price Waterhouse & Co. have issued a Qualified Opinion on both standalone and consolidated results citing indeterminate impact of SEBI proceedings regarding related party transactions with Praxair India Private Limited. The company also received a Valuation Report from NSE on business allocation with PIPL which is sub-judice before Supreme Court. Additionally, expenses were netted off by Rs 900 million due to reversal of related liabilities from changed contractual arrangements.
The Qualified Opinion from auditors signals regulatory concerns around related party transactions that could create uncertainty for investors. While PAT growth remains strong, the ongoing SEBI legal proceedings and business allocation disputes represent significant governance risks that may impact future operations and valuations.
