LKP Securities Ltd has withdrawn and cancelled a proposed preferential issue of up to 47,62,000 equity shares. The shares were meant to be allotted to the late Mr. Mahendra Doshi, who represented partnership firm M/s L K Panday, but he passed away on August 6, 2025. The Board had originally approved the issue on July 25, 2025. Along with the issue itself, the postal ballot notice sent to shareholders on July 25 and the in-principle approval application submitted to BSE have also been withdrawn and cancelled. The e-voting window for the postal ballot was open from July 26 to August 24, 2025.
The capital raise plan of around 47.6 lakh shares does not go through, meaning the company will not receive the planned equity infusion from this route. For shareholders, the proposed dilution from this preferential issue is now off the table, though the company may explore alternative fundraising options in the future.
