Lloyds Engineering Works has signed a Purchase Agreement with The Materials Works Limited (TMW), a US-based company from Illinois, to exclusively design, manufacture and sell TMW's patented EPS Gen 4 cells globally (excluding China, Macao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and a 350-mile radius around Red Bud, Illinois). EPS Gen 4 is an acid-less pickling technology for flat rolled metals including stainless steel, developed and patented by TMW over 15 years, which eliminates the environmental issues of traditional acid-based pickling with zero effluent discharge and fully recyclable materials. Under the licensing arrangement, Lloyds will get access to ongoing design improvements, technical training, marketing materials and sales support from TMW. The deal involves annual cash payments plus earnout payments to TMW for a defined period, with no share exchange involved. The transaction is not a related party deal and has no promoter interest.
This gives Lloyds exclusive global rights to a green, patented steel processing technology, opening a new high-growth revenue stream in environmentally friendly metal processing. The international strategic tie-up and access to proprietary tech could act as a positive catalyst for the stock, though execution and actual revenue contribution will need to be tracked over coming quarters.
