The Board of Lloyds Enterprises Limited approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) and declared an interim dividend of Re. 0.10 (10%) per equity share of Re. 1 face value. The record date is 5 September 2025 and payment will be made on or before 12 September 2025. On a standalone basis, net profit jumped sharply to Rs. 221.27 crores from Rs. 0.91 crores a year ago, while consolidated net profit rose to Rs. 248.67 crores (EPS Rs. 1.95). The profit surge was largely driven by other income of Rs. 265.85 crores (standalone) versus Rs. 0.70 crores in the same quarter last year, while core revenue from operations actually fell to Rs. 98.41 crores from Rs. 174 crores. The company also highlighted expansion moves: subsidiary LEWL entered elevators/escalators, LRDL signed an MoU to acquire 51% in Calculus Logistech for Rs. 60 crore, and India's first private gold mine is set to begin commercial production shortly.
The headline profit jump looks impressive but is mostly fuelled by other/exceptional income rather than core trading operations, so the underlying business picture is weaker than the numbers suggest. The interim dividend is small in absolute terms, and key positives for shareholders are the upcoming gold mine production and subsidiary-level growth plans.
