Lloyds Enterprises' Board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 0.10 per equity share (10% on face value of Rs. 1) for FY 2025-26, with record date on September 5, 2025 and payment on or before September 12, 2025. The Board also approved unaudited Q1 FY26 results. On a consolidated basis, total income jumped to Rs. 613.01 crores (vs Rs. 326.74 crores YoY), with net profit surging to Rs. 248.67 crores (vs Rs. 16.94 crores YoY), largely driven by a sharp rise in other income (Rs. 282.11 crores). Standalone net profit also rose sharply to Rs. 221.27 crores. EPS on a consolidated basis stood at Rs. 1.95 for the quarter.
The dividend is small in absolute terms and the blockbuster profit growth is largely driven by non-operating 'other income' rather than core business performance, so the underlying operational picture is mixed. Short-term stock reaction may be positive due to the dividend announcement and headline profit surge, but investors should look closely at the sustainability of the other income component.
