LMW Limited reported audited FY2026 results showing standalone revenue of Rs.3,081.84 crore and net profit of Rs.153.92 crore, compared to Rs.2,909.40 crore revenue and Rs.238.24 crore profit in FY2025. The decline in net profit was due to a one-time exceptional gain of Rs.131.61 crore in FY2025 from sale of subsidiaries. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs.3,207.42 crore with net profit of Rs.130.73 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs.35 per share (350%) for FY2026. Statutory auditors M/s S. Krishnamoorthy & Co. will retire upon completion of their second consecutive term at the 63rd AGM in July 2026, with M/s Brahmayya & Co. recommended as successor for 5 years. Key leadership re-appointments include Managing Director Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu and new Independent Director Narayanan Vellayan.
The change in auditors is a routine rotation following completion of statutory terms, not a governance concern. The dividend recommendation provides income support for shareholders, though the year-on-year profit decline due to the absence of exceptional gains may create modest negative sentiment.
