LMW Limited's board, at its May 14, 2025 meeting, approved audited standalone and consolidated results for Q4 and FY25, with auditors giving an unmodified opinion. The company recommended a dividend of Rs.30 per share (face value Rs.10) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval at the July 17, 2025 AGM. On the financial side, standalone FY25 revenue fell to Rs.2,909 crores from Rs.4,597 crores in FY24, while net profit dropped to Rs.238 crores from Rs.371 crores (boosted by a Rs.131.6 cr exceptional gain from sale of subsidiary investments). Consolidated net profit declined sharply to Rs.103 crores from Rs.374 crores. The board also approved appointing MDS & Associates LLP as Secretarial Auditor (first term of 5 years) and Sri A N Raman as Cost Auditor for FY26, an additional investment in LMW Holding Limited (UAE), and material related-party transactions with Lakshmi Electrical Control Systems Limited.
Despite a steep year-on-year decline in core revenues and profits, shareholders get a healthy Rs.30/share dividend. The statutory auditor S. Krishnamoorthy & Co. continues, with no mid-term change. The results point to significant business headwinds in FY25, though the subsidiary restructuring delivered a one-time profit boost.
