Lokesh Machines reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 4,804.71 lakhs, down about 23% from Rs. 6,252.55 lakhs in Q1 FY25, though up roughly 24% sequentially from Q4 FY25 (Rs. 3,869.27 lakhs). Net profit stood at Rs. 45.55 lakhs versus Rs. 103.03 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, a YoY decline of around 56%. Basic EPS came in at Rs. 0.28 versus Rs. 0.06 last year, with the apparent rise explained by a larger share base from promoter warrant conversions. On segments, the Machinery Division grew (revenue Rs. 4,636.43 lakhs vs Rs. 3,815.63 lakhs YoY) but the Components Division collapsed sharply (Rs. 195.94 lakhs vs Rs. 2,486.61 lakhs YoY). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified limited review conclusion but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on the company's continued inclusion on the US Treasury OFAC sanctions list (since Oct 30, 2024), which has blocked foreign currency transactions.
Shareholders should note the steep YoY revenue and profit decline, particularly in the Components business, which is likely tied to the OFAC sanctions disruption. The unresolved US sanctions issue remains the single biggest overhang on the stock until removal is achieved.
