Lords Chloro Alkali Limited reported audited FY2026 results alongside board decisions on auditor appointments. The company re-appointed M/s Nemani Garg Agarwal & Co. as statutory auditor for a second 5-year term (FY2026-27 to FY2030-31) and M/s Goyal, Goyal & Associates as cost auditor for FY2026-27. A new internal auditor, M/s D Karamchandani & Co., was appointed for FY2026-27. Financially, total income rose ~45% to ₹3,930.34 lakh in FY26 from ₹2,718.15 lakh in FY25, with profit after tax surging ~4.6x to ₹2,848.67 lakh from ₹618.06 lakh. EBITDA margin expanded sharply from ~3% to ~9.7%. Operating cash flow improved to ₹2,686.19 lakh from ₹917.44 lakh. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter regarding a shortfall of 97.5 lakh units from open access power arrangement with CGE Il Hybrid Energy Private Limited, with confirmation still awaited.
Strong profitability improvement with PAT up 4.6x and margin expansion signals operational efficiency gains in the chloro alkali business. The clean audit opinion with an emphasis of matter on power unit shortfalls is a minor watch item but does not qualify the accounts. Positive for shareholders.
