Loyal Textile Mills reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹13,552 lakhs from ₹15,608 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a decline of about 13% year-on-year. The company posted a standalone loss after tax of ₹2,514 lakhs, wider than the ₹1,902 lakh loss in the same quarter last year, with EPS at negative ₹52.09. Exceptional items added ₹458 lakhs (profit on sale of assets of ₹1,613 lakhs offset by a stock impairment provision of ₹1,155 lakhs). On the consolidated side, the loss narrowed to ₹1,701 lakhs thanks to an ₹812 lakh profit share from the Italian joint venture Gruppo P&P Loyal SPA, though those joint venture figures were not audited or reviewed. The statutory auditor flagged an Emphasis of Matter noting continued operational losses, weak capacity utilisation, and liquidity stress, with the company's turnaround hinging entirely on management's restructuring, cost-cutting and asset sale plans.
Shareholders should view this as a cautious update. Revenue is shrinking, losses are widening, and the auditor has highlighted genuine going-concern-style concerns about liquidity and dependence on a yet-to-be-executed turnaround plan. Near-term stock sentiment is likely negative, though successful execution of asset sales and the pivot to high-margin technical textiles could be a swing factor for the rest of FY26.
