Ludlow Jute & Specialities has disclosed the CRISIL rating rationale dated December 26, 2025 for its total bank facilities of Rs. 148.71 crore. CRISIL has assigned a long-term rating of CRISIL A-/Stable and a short-term rating of CRISIL A2+ to these facilities. The rated facilities include a Rs. 64 crore cash credit and Rs. 31 crore working capital demand loan (the two largest lines), plus term loans, a letter of credit, and a bank guarantee spread across Canara Bank and YES Bank. The ratings are fresh assignments and will remain valid until January 8, 2027.
The A-/Stable and A2+ ratings indicate adequate capacity to meet financial commitments with low default risk, which is supportive for the company's borrowing costs and lender confidence. No rating upgrade or downgrade is implied — these are newly assigned ratings, so investors should treat this as neutral news rather than a positive or negative trigger.
