M-cap of nine of top 10 most valued firms jumps Rs 2.15 lakh cr; Airtel biggest winner

Last week, the BSE Sensex rose 1,274.95 points or 1.68 percent, supported by easing geopolitical concerns and softer crude oil prices. The combined market cap of nine of the top-10 most valued firms jumped Rs 2.15 lakh crore, with Bharti Airtel gaining the most at Rs 52,432.67 crore, followed by LIC (up Rs 51,675.23 crore) and Bajaj Finance (up Rs 26,553.71 crore). TCS was the only decliner, shedding Rs 12,699.49 crore in valuation.
