Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited received reaffirmation of its credit ratings from three major rating agencies on 22nd April 2026. India Ratings reaffirmed AAA/Stable ratings for NCDs (INR 490 bn), retail NCDs (INR 80 bn), subordinated debt, and other instruments including commercial paper and bank loans. CARE Ratings reaffirmed CARE AAA/Stable for secured NCDs, subordinated debt, and long-term debt programs totaling Rs 16,760 crore. CRISIL Ratings reaffirmed Crisil AAA/Stable for bank facilities, NCDs, subordinated debt, and fixed deposits, with some limits enhanced: bank facilities increased from Rs 13,317 crore to Rs 20,000 crore, fixed deposits from Rs 18,000 crore to Rs 20,000 crore, and commercial paper from Rs 17,000 crore to Rs 20,000 crore. One NCD rating was withdrawn due to debenture redemption.
Reaffirmation of AAA ratings across all three agencies signals strong creditworthiness and financial stability. Enhanced borrowing limits indicate improved capacity for raising funds. This is a positive development for investors as it reflects lender and market confidence in the company's ability to meet debt obligations.
