Mach Conferences & Events (BSE: 544248) submitted its investor presentation for FY25. Revenue was flat at ₹23,575 lakhs vs ₹23,726 lakhs in FY24, but profitability fell sharply — EBITDA dropped 40% to ₹2,196 lakhs (margin down from 15.45% to 9.31%) and PAT fell 46% to ₹1,417 lakhs. The company executed 156 events in FY25, up 73% from 90 in FY24, but average revenue per event dropped to ₹151 lakhs (from ₹264 lakhs). Management highlighted entry into Religious Tourism, partnership with Cordelia Cruises, and acquisition of a 60% stake in Travexel Events (medical conferences), which brings an order book of ₹20 crores for FY26. The company also plans to launch its own B2C travel portal in FY26 and has issued ESOPs to 44 employees.
Mixed signals for shareholders: top-line held steady while margins compressed significantly due to a lower-revenue event mix. However, the company is aggressively diversifying into B2C, cruises, corporate travel desks, and medical conferences, which could open new growth avenues. Investors should watch whether new segments and the Travexel acquisition can reverse the margin slide in FY26.
